Thinking About Upgrading My PC Instead of Buying a New One

Hey everyone! I'm looking to refresh my computer setup. Typically, I'd just buy a new machine, but now I'm considering upgrading specific parts instead. I mainly use my PC for gaming, 3D animation, and VFX simulations. Here are my current specs: GeForce RTX 3060, 32GB of RAM, and an Intel Core i7-10700K. Since I've never upgraded a part before, I'm curious if anyone has recommendations for a good GPU that I should consider for an upgrade.

You should definitely share your complete build using PCPartPicker; it makes things way easier to analyze. It’s really handy for seeing compatibility and getting ideas for upgrades!

I haven't used PCPartPicker yet, but I did pull my specs from PC Specialist. Here's what I have: Intel Core i7-10700K, ASUS ROG STRIX Z590-E motherboard, 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE RAM, a 12GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, and a 1TB Intel M.2 NVMe SSD. Let me know if that helps!
