Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my PC, and I'm feeling a bit lost since this is my first time considering an upgrade. Right now, I have a Ryzen 5 3600, B450 Tomahawk Max motherboard, RTX 2070 Super graphics card, a Fractal Meshify C case, and a Corsair 800W Gold PSU. I'm particularly interested in upgrading my graphics card since the 20 series is starting to feel outdated for newer games like MGS Snake Eater. My main question is whether I should upgrade just the GPU and CPU, or if it would be better to go all in and build an entirely new PC. Any advice would be appreciated!

I suggest keeping your motherboard and selling the GPU if it’s in good shape; the RTX 2070 Super is still decent for a lot of users. Your PSU should handle up to something like a 5070 Ti with no issues. Just make sure to check if you need new RAM. Upgrading to a new CPU and GPU could be your best bet without starting from scratch!
Just a heads up, the B450 is actually an AM4 board. A BIOS update would let you upgrade to a 5700X3D for solid performance, and you could pair that with a 5070 or 9070 depending on your budget!
