Thinking About Upgrading to a More Reliable PSU – Need Advice

I'm looking to upgrade my current PSU to the RMX Series RM1000x - a 1000 Watt 80 PLUS Gold Fully Modular ATX PSU. My current one is a C tier PSU (Apevia ATX-PR850W), and I want to ensure I have everything sorted before making the purchase. Do I need any adapters to fit this new PSU, or will the plugs work with my existing setup? Also, I'm considering upgrading to an RTX 4090 in the next year, so I want to make sure the new PSU will handle that too. Here are my specs for reference: Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Gigabyte b650m c v2, and ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 Super Twin Edge.

If you're going for the RMX 2024 model, it comes with a 12V-2x6 cable that's perfect for the 4070 Super or a future 4090 upgrade. Just double-check which model you're buying!

Thanks for the heads up! I actually meant the RMX 2021, since I need it to match the height of my current PSU for space reasons.
