Hey everyone! I'm a long-time gamer but have always been into consoles. Recently, I've decided to make the switch to PC gaming and I'm excited to build my own gaming rig. I have a budget of £1600 but I'm totally new to this. I'm using PC Parts Picker to check out components, but I really need some advice on where to start. Like, where can I buy the parts? How much should I expect to pay for them? What do different components do, and what's the deal with all those abbreviations? I'd love any tips or advice you can offer. Thanks a lot!

Micro Center is a great place to check out for parts if you have one nearby! They usually have deals and a good selection.
