Hey everyone! I'm putting together my first gaming PC build, and I'm targeting around $1500. Here's the link to my part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/cx6LRV. If I make a trip to the nearest Micro Center, I might be able to save about $170.
I'm mostly a console gamer with my PS5, but I'm looking to get back into audio recording/editing and maybe do some light video editing when my kids are older. I'm not a hardcore gamer, so I'm not too worried about ultra graphics or frame rates—60 fps that looks as good or just a little better than my PS5 would be perfect. I'd like this build to hold up for a few years, and maybe even dip my toes into VR later on.
I'm not someone who plans to upgrade every year, and while the power supply seems a bit robust, I'd rather not have to replace it in the future. Any feedback is appreciated!

I’d recommend going for CL30 RAM instead for better consistency. Everything else looks solid, but consider a b850 motherboard for more upgrade options down the line. Just a minor tweak, really!
That’s good to know! The motherboard is part of a bundle for Micro Center, but I’ll keep that in mind if I order online. Thanks!
