Hey everyone! I just finished my first PC build in seven years, and I'm really eager to get your opinions! You can check out my parts list [here](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jCJ73w). I'm particularly looking for feedback on the motherboard, power supply unit (PSU), and CPU cooler I chose, but I'm open to any suggestions for improvement. I'm focusing on gaming and general home use—no video editing for me. My budget is around $2-2.5k. Also, if you have any monitor recommendations to make the most of my GPU, I'd appreciate them, ideally in the $500-1k range but I'd love to keep it under 1k. Thanks a lot!

I’d suggest looking for a motherboard that officially supports your CPU right out of the box. It’ll save you some hassle down the line, especially since you might need to update the BIOS. Plus, I recommend getting a larger case—it's more spacious and makes upgrades easier. And if you plan on using internal optical drives, make sure your case can support those too!
Got it! I noticed people mention needing to update the bios, but it seemed pretty straightforward. Is there another reason to prioritize a motherboard that comes pre-equipped for the CPU? I don’t feel super confident about choosing the right one, since the prices are pretty close together!
