I'm excited to get feedback on my very first gaming PC build! Right now, my focus is on gaming, and I plan to upgrade my graphics card within the next year. I already own the graphics card, power supply, and SSD mentioned in the list, so I'm committed to sticking with those for the time being. Here's the part list I put together:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
- **CPU Cooler:** be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5 CPU Cooler
- **Motherboard:** MSI PRO X870E-P WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard
- **Memory:** G.Skill Flare X5 32 GB DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory
- **Storage:** Crucial MX100 512 GB Solid State Drive
- **Video Card:** MSI GAMING X GeForce GTX 1080 8 GB Video Card
- **Case:** NZXT H7 Flow (2024) ATX Mid Tower Case
- **Power Supply:** Corsair RM650x 650 W 80+ Gold Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
- **Operating System:** Microsoft Windows 11 Home
The total comes to about $1776.74. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Honestly, that GPU price seems steep for a very temporary setup. If I were you, I’d consider a more budget-friendly motherboard, like the B850, and think about upgrading to an M.2 SSD with at least 2TB soon. 1TB doesn’t really give you much room, given Windows and a few games can take up a lot of space.
Yeah, I get that! The GTX 1080 is just a stopgap while I save for something better, and I'm aiming for a system that's ready for a high-end card later.
