I'm looking to build a high-end gaming PC that will last me for about five years. My budget is under $2,000, so while I'm somewhat restricted, I still have a bit of flexibility. Here's what I have planned:
**CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D - 8-core, 16-thread, 4.2 GHz base
**CPU Cooler:** Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE - dual tower air cooler
**Motherboard:** MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI - ATX, AM5, DDR5, Wi-Fi 6E
**RAM:** Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-6000 CL36
**Storage:** WD Black SN770 2TB NVMe Gen 4 - PCIe 4.0, M.2
**GPU:** Gigabyte RTX 4070 SUPER Windforce OC - 12GB GDDR6X
**Case:** Fractal Design Pop Air - ATX Mid Tower with mesh front
**PSU:** Corsair RM750x SHIFT - 750W, 80+ Gold, fully modular with side interface
**Estimated total:** ~$1900
Can anyone provide feedback on this setup? Is there anything that looks overkill, potentially bottlenecked, or unbalanced?

You can definitely get more bang for your buck! Consider these upgrades: switch to a Ryzen 9 9800X3D for better performance (only about 2.5% improvement at 1440p though, based on various benchmarks). The 5070 Ti is a significant step up, too, and would fit your budget nicely.
Also, look into a more affordable B650E motherboard for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Plus, you can find memory that's lower latency but similar speeds for less, and a budget-friendly NVMe. Lastly, an 850W PSU gives you better upgrade room in the future.

You might want to check out PCPartPicker and share the link when you do! Also, I noticed the 4070 Super is discontinued, so I'd suggest looking at the 5070 instead. Also, make sure your PSU connector fits your case since the side connectors don’t work with every setup. Maybe aim for a 5070 Ti or a 9070 XT instead of the 4070.
I think the 5070 Ti will be a good choice for you—it performs better than the 4070 at 1440p. Just make sure to compare benchmarks before deciding!
Here's the PCPartPicker link I created: [PCPartPicker List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/X99Zdb). Also, I heard the 5070 isn't as good as the 4070 due to its AI frame generation—any thoughts on that? I also considered the 9070 XT, but they struggle with ray tracing compared to NVIDIA's GPUs. It's tough to find reliable info!
