Hey everyone! I'm diving into the world of PC building for the first time, and I'm curious what you all think about my parts list. Are there any compatibility issues I should be aware of? Here's what I'm planning to go with: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600, CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Freezer 36, Motherboard: ASRock B550M Pro4, Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL 32GB DDR4, Storage: WD Blue SN5000 1TB NVMe SSD, Video Card: Gainward Python III GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, Case: Asus Prime AP201, and Power Supply: Montech CENTURY II 850W. The total comes to about $1293.04. Would love to hear your thoughts before I make the purchase. Thanks!

Just a heads up, don’t spend that much on a 5060 Ti! There are better options out there for the money.
Honestly, for that price, you might want to consider building an AM5 system. It’s more future-proof and would give you better performance.
Yeah, I can see the value in that! But like I mentioned, AM5 would force me to cut down on my GPU, which I'm trying to avoid.
Check out this build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/TYsTLc. It features the same GPU but costs about $200 less!
Thanks for that! I appreciate the suggestion, but the prices of parts vary in my country (SEA region), so I’d need to save up a bit longer for that setup.
I’m wondering why you opted for an AM4 setup instead of going with AM5? The newer platform could be worth it if you're looking for longevity.
I chose AM4 mainly due to my budget constraints. Switching to AM5 would mean downgrading my GPU from the 5060 Ti to just a 5060, and I’d rather keep the better graphics for gaming!
Got any other recommendations? I was considering the 5060 before, but I’ve read that 8GB of VRAM is becoming less sufficient for newer games.
