Thoughts on My First PC Build?

I'm in the UK and I've put together a PC build for my first time, but I'm waiting for some feedback before I order the parts:
- CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X
- GPU: PowerColor Radeon RX 6600 Fighter 8GB GDDR6
- Motherboard: AsRock A520M HVS
- Memory: 2x16GB Corsair DDR4 Vengeance (3200)
- PSU: 550W Corsair CX550
- Network Card: ASUS PCE-AX1800 WIFI 6 Dual Band + Bluetooth 5.2
- Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S
- NVME: 1TB WD Blue SN5000 M.2 PCIe 4.0(x4)
- HDD: 2TB Seagate BarraCuda 3.5" 7200rpm
- Case: Lian Li A3-mATX Black
The total comes to about £866 with shipping and VAT. I'm looking for advice because I game a bit, but I don't care for high-end AAA games. I have a 60Hz 1080p monitor and I might upgrade it later for a higher refresh rate rather than better resolution. Also, as a Gentoo Linux user, I compile my packages which is why I chose a 16-thread CPU and 32GB of RAM.
I'm a bit concerned about if these parts will work well together and fit in the case since it's my first build. And is the cooler too much for the CPU? Also, considering that the GPU is 28% of my total cost, should I look for a more budget-friendly option or perhaps even a used one?

Honestly, your build looks a bit dated, especially considering you’re going with AM4. The RX 6600 isn't the best for the price either since it's kind of low-end and older. You might want to consider a more modern setup with an AM5 CPU like the 7600 and a GPU like the RX 7600. It could cost about the same but perform way better! Check out this alternative I made for you.

Thanks for the suggestion! I actually found a deal for an RX 7600. I'm thinking about swapping the CPU for a 9600X, the motherboard for an AM5 Asrock A620M, and upgrading to DDR5 RAM. I also saved £20 on the old build. Does this sound like an improvement?
