Thoughts on My First PC Build?

I'm gearing up to build my first PC instead of just upgrading my current one, and I'm pretty excited! Here are the specs I've picked out:
- **CPU:** Intel i7-14700KF with a Corsair Nautilus 360 RS liquid cooler.
- **Motherboard:** MSI MPG Z790 Carbon WiFi.
- **GPU:** ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 5070 Ti.
- **PSU:** Corsair RM850x.
- **RAM:** Corsair Vengeance RGB 2x 32GB DDR5 5600MHz.
- **Storage:** Samsung 990 Evo Plus 2TB.
- **Case:** NZXT H9 Elite Dual Chamber ATX Mid Tower.

I know the details might be a bit vague, but I've done quite a bit of research to ensure everything's compatible. I'm open to any feedback on my parts selection, but I already made the purchase. I wanted to upgrade from my 8GB RTX 4060 and felt like Forrest Gump — since I've come this far, why not go all in? Thanks in advance for any insights!

If you're looking for an easier build outline, using a site like PCPartPicker helps keep things organized and ensures compatibility. Just make sure you're getting parts that fit together! Also, think about whether you're going for an AM5 setup or if you're leaning towards Intel.

Honestly, I wasn't too familiar with AMD, and I just wanted something that would be a solid upgrade over my current setup. I really loved my old build but wanted to upgrade from the 8GB RTX 4060.

Your build looks solid! The Intel i7 paired with the RTX 5070 Ti should give you great performance. I swapped out your cooler for a more cost-effective model that performs well, and I also adjusted some other components for better balance. You likely won't need 64GB of RAM unless you're playing heavily modded games or something like Escape from Tarkov, which is pretty resource-intensive. Check out my changes!

Thanks for the suggestions! I've heard Ryzen CPUs are excellent for gaming, but don't they have fewer cores than Intel? Does that impact gaming performance significantly?

There's definitely room for improvement depending on your budget and where you're located. If you're in the US, do you have a Microcenter nearby? They often have great prices on parts.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm located in the US, and the closest Microcenter is in Minnesota, which is about a 6-hour drive from me.
