I'm ready to buy my new PC build featuring an i5-14600K CPU and an RX 7800 XT GPU. My goal is to play games on high settings at 1440p ultrawide resolution, especially titles like Cyberpunk and Dune Awakening. I'm working with a budget of $1400 and I live near a Micro Center, which is a bonus! I already have a keyboard, monitor, and mouse, so I just need to finalize this build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xt72Dj. I'd love to get some feedback to ensure I'm not making any major mistakes here!

The RX 7800 XT is a bit of an unusual pick at $600. Have you considered grabbing a 9070 instead from Micro Center? Plus, I'd recommend upgrading your PSU; check out this tier list to aim for at least a B-rated model, though A-rated is even better! Just looking out for your build's longevity! You might want to reconsider the LGA 1700 socket. Micro Center has some excellent AM5 combo deals that could give you more value. Just a thought!
I get that, but I'm sticking with LGA 1700 for a couple of reasons. First, I based my build on what I found on logicalincrements.com and tried to keep it in that range. Second, I have a tendency to get overwhelmed with choices, so I'm playing it safe this time!
Heads up on that P310 drive; it uses QLC flash, which tends to have lower durability and can slow down over time. I'd suggest going for a drive with TLC flash, like the Kioxia Exceria Plus G3 or WD Blue SN5000, for better performance in the long run.
You're right about that! I'll check if they have any 9070s available at my Micro Center for that price. And I'll definitely look into the PSU options tonight.
