I'm considering upgrading my desktop, which I haven't built myself before since my current rig is a pre-built model from six years ago. I'm keeping my RTX 2080 Super graphics card, but I need to upgrade my motherboard because the PCIe port is not functioning. Currently, I have an Intel i9 9900K CPU, 16GB of RAM, and a Cooler Master PSU that I wasn't happy with due to a previous failure. My water cooling system is Cooler Master as well.
Here's what I'm planning to get: Intel i5 14700KF, MSI Pro Z790 P Wi-Fi motherboard, Corsair 850W modular Gold PSU, and Kingston Fury 32GB DDR5 RAM at 6000 MT/s. My main uses are gaming, especially with heavy graphics and FPS, and I also work with Photoshop for art and large file editing. Any insights or opinions on these choices?

You might want to consider the LGA 1851 platform for your artistic work as it has some great CPUs. But if you’re keen on FPS gaming, AMD's AM5 platform could be worth exploring too since they offer x3D gaming CPUs. Just a thought if you play CPU-heavy games like CS or Valorant!

I think I'll stick with Intel for now since I've read it's better for Photoshop? I mainly play Apex Legends, Ark Survival Evolved, and Minecraft with shaders.
