Hey everyone! I'm working on building a new gaming PC to upgrade from my current Ryzen 5 5600 and RX 6700XT setup. I'm aiming for strong performance, especially for games like Starfield, Cyberpunk 2077, Avowed, and Oblivion Remastered, with a goal of hitting 60 fps at 1440p. I want this build to be fairly future-proof (around $1300) so I can upgrade later if necessary. I'm thinking of going with a Ryzen 7 7700 and RX 9070 combo, but I'm open to any suggestions. I've also kept the CPU fan out since I believe the 7700 comes with one. I'd really appreciate any feedback on my proposed build!

Your build looks pretty solid overall! Just a heads-up, the UD90 drive you picked is QLC flash, which isn't very durable and can slow down noticeably after a few years. You might want to consider a drive with TLC flash, like the Kioxia Exceria Plus G3 or WD Blue SN580. That would give you better performance and longevity!
This is a great start! One thing I noticed is that you've chosen an M-ATX motherboard but paired it with a full ATX case. It might look a bit odd since the case will be bigger than the motherboard. You could either find a case that fits M-ATX or go for a full ATX motherboard. If the budget allows, look for a solid $60 full ATX case and consider upgrading to an ATX motherboard. I recommend the Montech XR! Also, if you're gaming a lot, you might want to look at the RX 5070 instead of the 9070, as it performs better in many rasterization tests and offers advanced ray tracing tech with DLSS4. Just a thought!
Keep in mind the 9070 excels in pure rasterization, while the 5070 is better for ray tracing.
I appreciate the feedback! I'm trying to keep it user-friendly since I'm not super experienced. Any particular ATX board you recommend? I was mostly eyeing B650 and B650M options.
Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely check those out.
