I'm diving into the world of PC gaming after only using consoles and laptops. I'm thinking about investing in a custom-built PC for about £800, but I'm uncertain if the build is solid. Here are the specs I'm considering:

- **Processor:** AMD Ryzen 5 5500 – 6 Cores, 4.2GHz Turbo, claims to be great for gaming
- **Cooling:** Thermalright 240mm White AIO for cooling the system
- **Motherboard:** ASRock A520M-HVS – noted as reliable and feature-packed
- **Memory:** 32GB Team T-Force Delta RGB (2x16GB) DDR4 3600MHz – fast and stylish
- **Storage:** 1TB ADATA Legend 710 NVMe SSD for quick load times
- **Graphics Card:** RTX 4060 8GB White – promises excellent 1080p/1440p gaming performance
- **Power Supply:** Vida 750W Heracles White 80+ Bronze for reliability and efficiency
- **Case:** Custom White Case with ARGB and a mesh front for airflow
- **Cooling Fans:** 9x Vida Infinity01 White ARGB Fans for aesthetics and cooling

Do you think this is a solid setup, or should I consider switching out some parts? Also, is it wise to upgrade the storage from 1TB to 2TB now, or should I wait until later? I'd appreciate any insights on whether this build is worth it, especially since I'm buying it from a builder who recommended these parts!

Honestly, I'd be cautious. The Ryzen 5 5500 isn't the best for gaming – it's kind of outdated compared to recent processors. And the RTX 4060 is on the slower side too. For this budget, exploring the used market might lead you to better options!

Lol, the person I’m buying from put this list together, so I’m trusting their advice but wondering if it's actually worth it!

The builder must have their reasons, but don’t just take it at face value! Look around.

Check out this build I put together, it’s way better for the same price: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/XBx4jn

The parts are decent, but I'm not sure they totally justify the £800 price tag. Some might say it's a bit much for what you're getting, especially the CPU.
