Hey everyone! I'm totally new to building PCs, having only used gaming laptops before. I've been trying to figure things out on my own, and I'm putting together a budget setup for 1440p gaming. I could really use some advice on which parts to keep or change, especially since I noticed some price discrepancies on pcpartpicker that didn't include all merchants. Here's my build link for reference: https://fr.pcpartpicker.com/list/kLmNh7. Let me know if you need any more details or specifics!

It really depends on your budget constraints. At the very least, I’d recommend upgrading the PSU and SSD to something more reliable.

I was aiming for around €1200 but could stretch a bit if needed. I’m okay with the PSU but what SSD would you suggest?

Your build looks solid! If I were you, I’d consider switching the motherboard to either MSI or Gigabyte since some users reported issues with Asrock on this generation. Just something to think about!

Thanks! I'll definitely check out those brands.

Just a heads up, the UD90 uses QLC flash, which isn’t very durable and tends to slow down after a while. You should consider a drive with TLC flash instead, like the Kioxia Exceria Plus G3, WD Blue SN580/SN5000, or TeamGroup MP44L/G50. Those should serve you better in the long run!

Thanks a ton! I wasn’t aware of that detail. I’ll definitely look into the SSD options you mentioned!
