Tips for Maximizing Savings on My PC Build

Hey everyone! I just grabbed a 5080 at MSRP and I'm ready to put together the rest of my build to sell my old PC. I have a couple of questions about saving money without sacrificing quality.

1.) I'm planning to get a motherboard and RAM combo from Newegg for around $320. I know I could probably save by choosing a different motherboard (like a B650), but I really like the Strix design. If anyone has good suggestions for a visually appealing motherboard, I'm all ears!

2.) I'm not too familiar with power supplies. Am I good with the one I've selected, or can I find a more budget-friendly yet reliable option?

For the CPU, the 9800x3d has an MSRP of $479, but good luck finding it at that price without scalper premiums. You might want to consider the 7800x3d as an alternative.

As for your cooling setup, I recommend the Grand Vision cooler over the Hyper Vision. It offers better cooling performance at a lower price. Plus, Tom's Hardware had some doubts about the Hyper Vision's effectiveness.

I have a Micro Center nearby, so I'm not worried about scalper prices. I'll check out the Grand Vision again. I picked the Hyper mainly for looks—do you think the performance gap is significant enough to reconsider that choice?
