I've got two panel interviews coming up for web developer positions, and I've never faced a panel interview before. I would love to hear from anyone who's gone through this experience. What advice can you share? I've heard panel interviews can be tough since you have to impress multiple interviewers at once. Are they becoming a standard practice in developer hiring?

I recently went through a panel interview and ended up getting the job! The key for me was to give full attention and maintain eye contact with whoever was asking a question, treating each panelist equally. I was upfront about anything I didn't know instead of trying to bluff it, and I stressed that sometimes the gaps in my knowledge were due to what my previous jobs required. Showcasing instances where I had to learn and adapt really helped me stand out, especially since my boss later pointed that out as a major plus when making their decision.
