Tips for Safely Shipping Your Built PC Overseas

Hey everyone! I'm planning to ship my already built PC to another country via air cargo and want to ensure everything arrives safely without having to disassemble it. I've got the original box from when I bought my PC case, complete with the foam padding, and I'm thinking of placing that box inside a larger box filled with bubble wrap or clothes for extra cushion. I'm also considering using my clothes to keep the internal parts secure during transport. However, I'm unsure if that's the best strategy. I know the safest option would be to take everything apart and use anti-static containers, but I'm looking for advice on my current approach. Any suggestions would really help me out!

You might want to remove and wrap the GPU separately before putting it back in the box. If you have an AIO cooler, consider whether it can stay attached or if it should come off too. It could be risky to rely on clothes inside your chassis since they might not provide enough protection against impacts during shipping.

Honestly, if you're able to, I'd suggest taking the GPU, RAM, and storage with you as carry-on items. That way, they're safe and you won’t have to worry about damage. If carrying them isn't an option, you could look into other packing materials specifically designed for shipping PCs.
