Tips for Upgrading from a 2070 Super to a 5080

I'm planning to upgrade my gaming PC from a 2070 Super that I built back in February 2020. I want to make sure that my new build will last at least six years without major issues. I'll be gaming at 1440p and maybe even 4k later on, depending on my monitor upgrades. While I'm considering the 5070 Ti as a more sensible option, I'm leaning towards the 5080 because I like it and it's in my budget. I've never overclocked my current setup, but I might consider doing it with this new one. Here's the link to my planned build for anyone interested: [Build Link](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wq2z8Q).

Consider switching to a different case if you're spending a lot on fans; you don’t want them cramped up like in a fishbowl. Plus, you really don’t need a $200 liquid cooler for something like the 9800X3D since it doesn't put out that much heat anyway. Also, getting Windows 11 retail can be worthwhile for longevity—it's a better long-term choice than the OEM version.

I’m actually considering other cases. I initially thought about the Fractal Design North for better airflow, but I kind of got attached to the fishbowl concept. I appreciate the OS tip too; I've already made that change!

Make sure you get an ATX power supply unit (PSU) for better compatibility. It’s so important not to overlook that!

Thanks for the heads up! I didn't catch that.
