Hey everyone! I'm looking to switch my gaming PC from Windows to Linux. I'm a bit of a beginner with Linux, but I'm fairly comfortable with computers and willing to learn. I want to make sure I'm using a stable system, especially since I'm hoping to expand my knowledge and skills. I've heard about Fedora and Arch, and I've also looked into Pop!_OS, but I'm not interested in using a pre-configured system. Any advice on which distribution would be best for me? If you're looking to build your system from the ground up, you'll want to consider Arch or Gentoo, although Gentoo can be quite tricky. If building isn't your thing, then Arch might not be the best fit, but Fedora could work well for you. I haven't had the best experiences with Fedora myself, but I've been using Arch derivatives, like EndeavourOS, which makes setting up an Arch system much easier.
