Trouble Activating Microsoft RDS CALs?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for some help with the Activate.Microsoft.com portal while trying to activate my RDS Client Access Licenses (CALs). I have a Windows 2022 Server set up and a pack of genuine Windows 2022 User CALs (retail). When I try to use the portal, I go through the steps: selecting 'Install Client Access Licenses', entering my License Server ID, selecting the License Pack, filling in my Company Name, and setting the language. Then I input my 25-character RDS CAL key and click 'Add'. Sometimes I immediately get an error page, and other times it will accept the key but errors out when I click 'Next'. Has anyone successfully used this portal, or do most people just end up calling Microsoft instead? Thanks for any insights! Also, just a heads-up, we use RDS servers in an environment without internet access, so telephone support or the portal are our only options.

I've had to stick to the activation portal a few times due to our license type not being supported in the RD Licensing Manager, and it has worked every time for me. But have you thought about using the RD Licensing Manager? It could be more straightforward for your setup!

I've always used the RD Licensing Manager in Windows too. It seems to navigate licensing issues much more efficiently.

I've had luck activating my CALs through the RD Licensing Manager on my RDS License Server instead. It's pretty stable in my experience!

Yeah, that's the go-to method for most of us! It just works better than the portal.

We always go through the Remote Desktop Licensing Manager for activations. It's just more reliable from what I've seen.
