I'm having a frustrating issue with my laptop where it won't connect to the internet when I plug in an Ethernet cable. The Wi-Fi works perfectly, but the moment I connect the cable, it seems like there's no internet at all. I've even tried using a new cable to rule that out, but I'm still stuck. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to try removing the Ethernet card driver and then uninstalling the card from the Device Manager. After that, reboot your laptop and see if Windows detects it again. This can sometimes fix connectivity issues.
First off, check where the cable plugs into. Are you seeing any activity lights on the port when you connect it? Also, look at the internet icon on your laptop. What does it say? You should also check your Ethernet adapter status in the settings. Have you tried resetting your network settings or reinstalling the Ethernet driver? A reboot can also do wonders!
