Trouble Downloading Epic Games Launcher on My New Laptop

I recently got an Asus Vivobook S14 with an Ultra 7 258V processor, and I'm trying to download the Epic Games Launcher to play some lightweight games. However, whenever I hit the download button on the Epic Games website, it just shows a refresh message but doesn't start downloading anything. Has anyone faced this issue? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

It sounds like your browser might be blocking downloads. Try checking your browser settings to make sure downloads are allowed. Sometimes a pop-up blocker can interfere, too. Just keep an eye out for any permissions you might need to grant.

I had a similar issue before. When I clicked "Install on Windows," I got redirected to another page that just wouldn’t load. I checked my internet connection and was able to download other stuff just fine, so it wasn’t my internet. Maybe try refreshing the page or using a different browser. That helped me out!
