I'm totally new to building PCs and this is my first attempt. I've put together a system with a Palit 5080 GPU, Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, B650 Prime Asus motherboard, XPG 850W power supply, Kingston Fury Renegade 2TB SSD, and 32GB Flare X5 RAM. Everything seems to be running fine: the fans are working, the GPU has RGB lighting (though its fans aren't spinning). I've tried connecting both HDMI and DisplayPort to the GPU, but the monitor just shows no signal. I used a direct 12-pin cable from the power supply to the GPU and the CPU is connected with a single cable to the motherboard, both securely. I'm pretty sure the CPU pins are fine as I was very careful during installation. The RAM clicked into place as expected and the GPU seems securely mounted in the PCIe slot. The motherboard is connected as well, so I'm stuck trying to figure out whether the CPU or GPU is causing the issue. If you need any photos of my setup to help diagnose the problem, let me know!

Have you waited a bit for the system to boot? Sometimes it can take several minutes to properly initialize on the first start-up due to RAM training. Just let it sit for at least 5 minutes.
Just to clarify, there’s no signal at all—like the monitor screen is just black, not displaying any message. Is that still okay?
