I'm trying to set up Linux on my HP x360 (model 15m-bp111dx), but I'm running into some booting issues with my USB drive. When I attempt to launch Linux Mint, I keep seeing these error messages: [FAILED] Failed to start gpu-manager.service and [FAILED] Failed to start lightdm.service - Light Display Manager. I tried using compatibility mode, but it just leads to the "Linux Mint 22.2 Zara mint tty2" screen with a prompt that says "mint login:". When I type 'mint' it rapidly cycles through some lines but then throws me back to the login prompt. Any tips to solve this? By the way, I eventually figured out the problem was with my old USB drive. After reformatting it multiple times and facing crashes, I bought a new drive and it worked on the first attempt! Not exactly sure what went wrong with the old one, but it's gone now.

Yeah, I agree with UserFriendly99. Those errors could also hint at some hardware compatibility issues, especially if your graphics card isn't fully supported. But since you mentioned that you've tried different ISOs, it might still be worth double-checking the USB creation method. What tools did you use to create the USB? If all else fails, testing with another Linux distro could help determine if it's a Linux Mint-specific issue.
It seems like your USB installer might be the issue. If it's booting to the menu, that’s a good sign, but the errors you mentioned could indicate a corrupt ISO file or a problem during the USB creation process. Have you tried recreating the USB installer with a different program like Rufus or Etcher? Sometimes that can fix boot issues. Also, make sure the ISO you downloaded isn't corrupted by checking its checksum against the official one.
