Hey everyone! I'm having a frustrating issue with our office's fax machine, and I'm hoping for some help. We got a new Brother MFC-L5915DW printer a month or two ago, and everything was fine until recently. We can send faxes without any trouble, but receiving them has become a nightmare. For instance, if a fax is supposed to be 5 pages, we might only get 2 pages, and the second page often comes through half blank. Sometimes, we'll get parts of a fax in multiple batches, often with several pages missing or incomplete. We've tried sending test faxes, and it tells the sender that the line is busy, even when we do receive the fax. I've checked the hook button, and there's no static. We've replaced the cord too, and tech support just told us to try things we've already done. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I feel your pain! If you're stuck needing to receive faxes, consider switching to something like Fax.Plus. It lets you send and receive faxes through their website, so no need for a physical machine. You can even send faxes directly from Outlook using email as your cover page. Plus, you get notifications for new faxes via email—super convenient!
We tried the electronic fax receiving feature on our Brother, and it also had issues. Even with that, we'd only end up getting part of the fax.
