Hey there! I'm enjoying a holiday in Australia with my family and got an Apple Watch SE 3 for Christmas. However, when I tried to pair it with my iPhone 13, I was prompted to update to the latest iOS to do so. I've been trying to update but keep getting an error saying 'Unable to Verify Update,' and it claims that iOS 26.2 isn't available. I've cleared over 30 GB on my 128GB phone, tested my internet speed (which is great), tried updating while my phone is at 100% battery, and even switched my region to Australia. I'm at a loss for what could be blocking the update!

What iOS version are you currently on? If it's anything below iOS 17, you might run into issues trying to update wirelessly. If you have access to a Mac or PC, updating through that might help.
Have you checked if the iOS 26.2 download is showing any storage under Settings > General > iPhone Storage? If it is, try deleting it and then attempt the update again. It worked for someone else in a similar situation.

Thanks for the tip! I found it and deleting it did the trick. For anyone else, if iOS 26.2 isn't showing up, you can search for 'iOS' in the storage section and it should appear for deletion.
