Trouble with My Custom PC: Seeking Advice

I built this PC just before the COVID pandemic, and now I'm facing some serious lag issues. My kid has been trying to play Roblox and Minecraft, but they're just not working anymore. Unfortunately, I'm unable to upgrade to Windows 11 at the moment.

Here are some details about my system:
- Model: B450 Gaming X
- Type: x64-based PC
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core, 3200 MHz
- BIOS Version/Date: American Megatrends F41, 7/22/19
- Physical Memory: 8 GB (with only 3.42 GB free)
- Virtual Memory: 12.9 GB (7.74 GB available)

I've factory reset the device and I'm using paid malware protection. I've also removed a ton of temp files. Despite trying all the suggestions from my usual sources, I'm still stuck. Do I need to replace any components? We thought this build would serve us much longer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, especially for the sake of my child during this Roblox withdrawal period!

It looks like the biggest issue is probably your 8GB of RAM. Nowadays, 16GB is considered the minimum for gaming. Plus, your Ryzen 1600 is getting a bit old and may not perform well with newer games. To help you further, I'd recommend installing HWInfo64 to get a detailed report on your system's performance.

From the HWInfo64 data you posted, it seems like your single stick of 8GB RAM is really holding you back. Adding another 8GB would make a big difference! Also, both your CPU and GPU are starting to show their age. Are you looking to adjust software settings for now, or do you have a budget for upgrades?

Also, what graphics card are you using? Upgrading your CPU could definitely help, especially if you get something like a Ryzen 5600XT. That would allow you to upgrade to Windows 11 too, unlocking better performance. You should also check how many RAM slots you have available—if you can add another 8GB stick, that would really boost performance.

I found out that I have 1 of 4 RAM slots used according to Task Manager.
