Hey everyone! I'm having a bit of a situation with my iPhone 14 Pro Max after I updated to iOS version 26.4.1. Immediately following the update, my screen became completely unresponsive. I can still press the buttons since I can feel them clicking, but the screen just won't react. I've already tried force restarting my phone multiple times by pressing Volume Up, then Volume Down, and finally the Power Button until the Apple logo shows up, but nothing seems to work.
This issue started right after the update. I haven't dropped my phone nor has it been exposed to any liquids or extreme temperatures; my room is a comfortable 24 degrees Celsius. Here's what I've attempted so far:
- Force restarting the device (unsuccessful)
- Connecting it to my MacBook, but I'm unable to unlock my phone to allow accessory access.
Is there any other method to force shutdown my iPhone? Or is wiping the device my only option? I really want to avoid that since I don't have any backups of my important documents and photos, especially since I just disabled iCloud backup recently. If wiping is necessary, how can I restore my phone if it's locked? Thanks a lot for your help!

First off, did this screen issue start right after the update? Just to confirm, have you double-checked for any signs of water damage or drops? If your phone is still unresponsive and you can't let your MacBook recognize it, one option is to try installing the latest iOS beta as a last resort.
