My friend just reset his Asus TUF Gaming F15 laptop because it had a virus. However, after the reset, it's not showing any WiFi connections—just the Ethernet. You know how when you set up a new PC there are some initial configs? Well, it seems like he skipped over that part entirely. He attempted resetting again, but nothing changed. He really needs help to get online and continue with his tasks!

Sounds like your friend might've used the built-in factory reset option, which can often be problematic and doesn't always fix issues properly. It's also worth noting that there are different models within the Asus TUF series. If you can find out more about which specific model it is, that could help a lot! Also, how does the Device Manager look? Sometimes, hardware settings could be the culprit here.
Your friend will need to download the WiFi drivers for his specific laptop model from Asus's website. If he's not able to get past the WiFi setup screen, he might need to connect the laptop to the internet via Ethernet temporarily to get those drivers installed. Once he does that, he should be able to access WiFi again!
But if he can't connect to WiFi to download those drivers, how does he go about it?
He went with the built-in reset method. I think he has the RTX 3050 version but isn’t sure about the exact model.
