Troubleshooting Boot Light on Motherboard Issue

I recently built a new PC for my daughter, and it was working fine for about a week. Suddenly, it shut off and now shows a 'no signal' message on the monitor when I try to turn it on again. Upon inspecting the motherboard, I noticed the boot light is on. I've reset the BIOS, removed and reinstalled all components, checked the motherboard battery, tried different SSDs and GPUs, and tested both HDMI ports on the GPU and the motherboard, but the boot light persists and I still get no signal. I'm out of ideas on what to do next—any suggestions?

Boot lights can often be misleading. From my experience, if your PC was running fine and then suddenly won't boot, it's usually either the motherboard or power supply that's gone bad. Just because the power supply turns on doesn't mean it’s fully functional—it might be delivering power to the fans but could have issues supplying 12V to the CPU. This scenario could make it seem like the motherboard is the issue. It’s also possible both parts are failing, especially if the power supply is low-quality. Could you share what hardware you're using?

It has a B550 Plus motherboard and an RTX 3060 graphics card, with a 550W 80 Plus power supply. That’s the one part I didn’t replace during the rebuild; her last motherboard fried, and I replaced it along with the GPU and a better cooler.
