Trying to fix my new PC build that won’t display

Hey everyone, I recently built a new PC, but I'm not getting any display. The fans spin when I boot it up, and I have my monitor connected to the GPU, not the motherboard. I'm using an X79 motherboard along with an Intel Xeon E5 2650 v2, an RX 570 graphics card, 16 GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 500w power supply. What steps can I take to troubleshoot this issue?

Just a quick thing: make sure your display is plugged into the GPU and not the motherboard, but it sounds like you’ve got that covered since you mentioned you’re using the GPU. Have you tried using the integrated graphics of your CPU instead, if it has one? That could help narrow down the problem.

First, can you confirm if the fans actually spin when you boot? It's a basic check, but it can help determine if power is getting to your components.

Yep, the fans do spin.

You should also reseat the GPU; just remove it and put it back in. If you’re still not getting a display after that, it might be a good idea to try another GPU if you have one available. If all else fails, consider bringing it to a PC repair shop for diagnostics.

I checked the GPU, and it's working fine, so I don't think that's the issue.

Sure, here's a bit of a backstory: I just got this X79 motherboard and the Intel Xeon E5 2650 v2 from a friend for setup. After assembling everything, the PC turns on, but I’m still not getting any display. My setup includes:
- X79 motherboard
- RX 570 GPU
- Intel Xeon E5 2650 v2
- 500w power supply
- 16 GB RAM DDR3.
