Understanding Intel 200s Boost and Memory Settings

I have a bit of a technical question about the Intel 200s boost feature. I'm using an ASRock z890 pro A wifi motherboard, and I've noticed that the Intel 200s boost is disabled by default in the BIOS. The only other option I see is the non-XMP mode. Would switching to non-XMP provide any improvements, or should I just keep it disabled? Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

When you choose non-XMP, your RAM and the CPU's Integrated Memory Controller (IMC) will run at standard speeds and voltages, which means your CPU warranty stays intact. XMP, on the other hand, lets your RAM and IMC run at higher speeds set by the manufacturer, but this might void your warranty based on the memory you have. The 200s Boost is designed to enhance performance using the speeds from the XMP profile but with a cap on voltage at 1.4V, which should not impact your warranty. So, if you’re looking for a performance boost, the 200s might be the way to go if your RAM supports it!

Got it! But since I can't find the XMP option for my RAM, would you recommend just keeping Intel 200s boost disabled or should I try switching to the non-XMP setting instead?
