I just upgraded my CPU and RAM in hopes of improving my experience with Oblivion Remaster, but now the game is barely playable. It ran fine before the upgrade, though it didn't look great. I updated my BIOS and drivers, but I'm still struggling to figure out what I might have missed with this upgrade. Any suggestions?

I actually changed from a Ryzen 5 3600x to a Ryzen 7 5700x and upgraded my RAM from 16GB to 32GB.
Yeah, performance declined just for Oblivion. I played some other games and didn’t notice any issues there, but Oblivion has always been finicky for me.
