Upgraded My PC, but Now It’s Overheating—What Gives?

Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my setup from a TUF Gaming B450 with a Ryzen 5 3600x and RTX 4070 to a new MSI B650 Gaming WiFi, Ryzen 7 9800x3D, and RTX 4070 with DDR5 RAM. Also switched to Windows 11. Before the upgrade, I had no temperature issues while playing PoE2, but after the upgrade, my CPU and GPU are hitting temps in the 80s to 90s. My friend suggested it could be a cooling issue, so I checked and reapplied the cooler, but I'm still facing this problem. Any advice or similar experiences?

Those temperatures suggest either your system is pushed to its limits, or your case isn't ventilating well. What resolution are you gaming at, and what type of case are you using?

I'm gaming at 1080p on a Fractal Meshify 2 case.

What cooler are you using for your CPU? If it's a basic single fan tower cooler, you might want to upgrade to something like a Hyper 212 or a Peerless Assassin for better performance.

I'm actually using the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 with two Arctic P12s for intake and another for exhaust.
