Hey everyone! I recently made the jump from a 1660 Super to a 4060 GPU, but ever since the upgrade, I've been experiencing some serious FPS drops. I used to get around 60 to 100 FPS across different games, but now I'm only hitting about 20 FPS, which is really frustrating. I'm not quite sure what I might be doing wrong or what steps to take next. Here are my specs:

- RTX 4060
- Intel i7-9700F
- 16GB RAM

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

First off, make sure you've updated your graphics drivers! Sometimes, that can be a quick fix. Also, double-check that your in-game settings are the same as before. Lastly, ensure that your monitor is connected directly to the GPU rather than the motherboard. It’s a common oversight that can drastically affect performance!

Ugh, I feel you! That last part gets recommended a lot, and it's such a rookie mistake. I've done it myself more than once, haha!

LOL, right? I double-checked and everything is plugged into the GPU and the drivers are updated, but the problem persists.

Just to clarify, which Intel i7 do you have? The performance can vary based on the specific model, especially if there are power settings limiting the CPU's performance. Sometimes just tweaking settings in your PC can make a huge difference, too.

It's the i7-9700F. Should I be worried about the compatibility or performance issues?
