I'm considering an upgrade of Globalscape EFT from the version I'm currently using (7.4.13.15) to either 8.3 or 8.2, depending on which version is more stable. I'm hoping to hear from anyone who's made this transition. What were your experiences like, and do you have any valuable tips or pointers to share?

We also use Globalscape EFT, but honestly, we haven't had the best experience. We were on 7.4 and decided not to renew our contract due to some frustrating sales tactics. There are a lot of us using it, but I can't say I'd recommend it for its stability. In fact, I think we’re kind of stuck on 7.4 because of the issues we've faced. Just keep that in mind!
But isn’t 7.4 end-of-life? Aren't you worried about potential vulnerabilities there?
