I'm currently using an Intel i7 9700f with a 9060xt graphics card, but I'm experiencing some noticeable bottlenecks. With DDR5 prices being high, I'm looking for a budget-friendly upgrade. I have around 350 euros to spend and I'm considering getting a Ryzen 5 5600 along with a motherboard for about 200 euros. Is this a worthwhile upgrade? I primarily play games like BF6, Overwatch, Squad, and some racing games, with DCS also on my list. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm jumping on the LGA 1700 train and going for the 14600KF with a compatible motherboard. I believe it will offer me great performance even with DDR4 RAM.
Welcome to the LGA 1700 side! Just be sure to update the BIOS to the latest version once you have everything set up.
Yes, upgrading to the Ryzen 5 5600 would definitely give you a boost in performance with your GPU. If you’re looking for the best performance on a DDR4 platform, consider going for an Intel LGA 1700 socket setup instead, but Ryzen 5600 is still a solid option!

That sounds like a great plan! You'll get AM5 performance while sticking to DDR4, which is smart in this price range.
