I'm new to upgrading PCs, but I've decided to boost my Dell Inspiron 3670 since it struggles to run Baldur's Gate 3, even at the lowest settings. Here's what I'm working with:

**Current Specs:**
* CPU: Intel Core i7-8700 @ 3.20GHz
* RAM: 16 GB
* GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 1050 (2 GB)
* Storage: 1.82 TB

I've checked the system requirements and realized my GPU needs an upgrade; I need at least 8 GB. I'm leaning towards an Nvidia graphics card, but I might need help with any other components too! My budget is about $500, but I could stretch to $800 if needed. I'd like to get this done ASAP!

If you're okay with buying used, I had a good experience running Baldur's Gate 3 on a GTX 1070. You can usually find decent deals on those, and they should fit well within your budget. Just make sure the GPU you choose is compatible with your system. Good luck!

First thing you need to check is your power supply. Most likely, it's around 290W, which means you'll be limited in terms of GPU upgrades. Ideally, you'll want to consider something like an RTX 3050 6GB low profile, as it won’t need extra power and will significantly outperform your current card. It’s available from multiple sellers, so take a look around! You might need to adjust some settings, but it should run Baldur’s Gate 3 smoothly.
