Upgrading My GPU: Should I Stick with Just the GPU or Go for a Full Upgrade?

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU soon, but I'm not sure if I should just replace the graphics card or upgrade my whole setup. My current build features an Intel i5-10600K processor, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (12 GB). Since I work a lot with Nvec encoding and need extra VRAM, I'm considering either a 5060Ti with 16GB or a 5070 with 12GB, depending on which is a better deal at the time. However, I'm worried about potential bottlenecks with my current parts. Any advice would really help!

No need to worry too much! Either GPU you're considering should fit well into your system without causing any bottlenecks. If VRAM is a high priority, you might want to check out the 9060XT, which could save you some cash compared to the 5060Ti.

What’s your budget looking like? If it’s tight, upgrading just the GPU is the way to go. Your CPU is still good, and with RAM prices being what they are, you might want to stick with just that upgrade. If you can squeeze it, the 5070Ti would be a solid pick.

Yeah, my budget's a bit limited. I hope I can just upgrade the GPU, but if I have to do a full upgrade, I’d max out around $1K.
