Upgrading My PC for Better Gaming Performance: What Should I Change?

Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my current PC setup to improve my gaming experience, especially in games like Call of Duty and Fortnite. Here's what I currently have: an MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Plus motherboard, Intel i5-9600K processor, 32GB of DDR4 3600MHz RAM, and a Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti GPU. I also have a 1TB NVMe drive (MSI Spatium M371).

I know I definitely need to upgrade my graphics card and motherboard, but I want to keep costs down as much as possible. I'm also hoping to select a motherboard that allows future CPU upgrades, so I don't have to buy a new one all over again later.

Could anyone advise me on what parts I can keep from my existing setup, and what new components I should consider buying? I'm even open to selling my current build if necessary. I've always used Intel but am curious if switching to AMD would be a better choice, so any insights on that would be great. Thanks a lot for your help!

If you want a budget-friendly upgrade, just swapping out the GPU could really help. Just be sure your power supply can handle a new graphics card. If you go this route, you'll definitely need a new motherboard, CPU, and RAM. I recommend looking for an AMD B850 motherboard for future upgrades.

What’s the best GPU I can pair with my current CPU without causing a bottleneck? If I can get better FPS and quality, I’d just go for a new GPU!
