Upgrading My PC: Should I Go for Ryzen 7 5700X3D or Something Else?

Hey everyone! I need some advice on upgrading my PC. Currently, I have a B450M DS3H motherboard, a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, and a GTX 1660 Super GPU with 6GB of VRAM. I also have 16GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM at 3200MHz, and a 1TB Samsung Evo 970 NVMe SSD (though it's limited to PCIe Gen 3 because of my motherboard). I mainly play CS:GO and aim for a stable 240fps at 1080p. I'm considering upgrading to the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D and possibly a better GPU if I can find a good deal. However, I'm also tempted to upgrade my motherboard, as my current one only has one M.2 slot. I'm unsure if I should stick with AM4 or go for the more expensive AM5. What do you guys think?

The 5700X3D is a solid choice for what you're looking to do. Just keep in mind that while it's great for gaming, it's on the pricier side. If storage is a must, consider Intel as well; they often offer good value at a lower price point with more extensive M.2 slots. Check out some build lists to compare options.
