I'm in a bit of a bind and could use some help. I have a B450M Steel Legend motherboard and was using a single 8GB stick of Asgard DDR4 RAM at 3600MHz. Today, I tried upgrading to two Corsair Vengeance LPX sticks (2x16GB, also DDR4 3600MHz). I installed them in the second and fourth slots (A2 and B2), but now my PC powers on without displaying anything. It stays on for about 40 seconds before going into a reboot loop. I even put the old RAM back in, but I'm still facing the same issue with no display and the same on/off cycle. Did I screw something up? 😭

Try removing the RAM and clearing the CMOS before putting it back. If that doesn't work, you might want to return the Corsair RAM and look for a different brand.
It could just be that your system needs some time to train the memory. I recommend walking away for a bit and letting it do its thing. Sometimes, it just needs a few moments to sort things out on its own.
Should I leave both sticks in for this memory training, or would it be better to just use one stick? I want to make sure I’m doing it properly.
Got it! I’ll give it some time and see what happens.
How do you clear the CMOS? I'm not familiar with that process.
