Hey everyone, I'm reaching out because our AWS account just got blocked, and it's really causing havoc for our business operations. We were in the middle of launching a new EC2 instance when we encountered this error message: "This account is currently blocked and not recognized as a valid account. Please contact AWS support if you have questions." We've already created a support case, but unfortunately, we haven't received any responses yet. We also completed some required security actions a week ago, but still no luck. It's super frustrating, and we really need to resolve this quickly to get our account reinstated. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I've noticed a spike in accounts getting suspended lately, too. It's concerning because a lot of users, including you, aren't getting timely responses from AWS. Their support seems to be overwhelmed right now, leading to frustrating delays for many. I’ve read that sometimes these suspensions could be due to security concerns or even billing issues, so double-checking everything on your end might help. Hang in there!
Yeah, I agree. And sometimes expired payment methods can trigger this. Either way, it's baffling to see so many blocked accounts without clear communication.
I understand your frustration! There seems to be a confusing pattern where multiple accounts get blocked but no clear answers from AWS. It might even be an issue with increased bots or spam accounts being flagged. I'd recommend patience and keeping an eye on email notifications; AWS usually updates you through there when they reactivate accounts after suspension.
Do you think it's possible that AWS is cracking down on accounts that may appear suspicious? I'm seeing a lot of these posts too, and it makes me wonder if there are any underlying reasons.
