I've been experiencing a frustrating issue after a recent Windows 11 update. Whenever I try to play any videos, the audio starts right away, but the video takes about 2 seconds to begin moving, which causes a noticeable desync. This is annoying whether I'm watching shows or studying. My graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070, so I'm wondering what could be causing this problem.

What media player are you using? If you haven't already, try switching to VLC; it tends to handle video playback better than the default options.
Have you tried restarting your PC? Sometimes a simple shutdown and restart can resolve these types of glitches.
I did that already, but it didn’t change anything. This has been happening for a few days now.

I’ve been using my web browser and the Windows video player.
