I've been collecting older Apple products over the past few years, and I'm looking for suggestions on how I can use them instead of just letting them sit around. I have a 1st generation iPad Mini, an iPhone 6, and an iPhone 5, all in working condition. The iPad is stuck on iOS 9, and I've managed to put some movies on it, plus use apps like SoundCloud and a couple of games. The iPhone 6 is running iOS 12, and while I've got games and maybe Prime Video on it, I'm not exactly sure what else I can do. As for the iPhone 5, I'm confused about its potential use. If anyone has any app recommendations for these or creative ideas on how to repurpose them, I'd really appreciate it! Also, side note: the iPhone 6 has 98% battery health, but it seems to drain quickly for no reason, while the iPad Mini holds up well with 100% battery.

I get where you're coming from! I've got the same devices, and I can tell you that the older they are, the fewer apps you'll be able to run. My original iPad barely does anything useful now.
Honestly, not much can be done with those old Apple devices. They’re heavily locked into the Apple ecosystem, and the app availability is pretty limited due to outdated iOS versions. You might be stuck with whatever you've already got installed unless you're willing to get a bit adventurous with jailbreaking, which Apple doesn't support.
True! Jailbreaking can give you more options, but you've got to be careful since it voids any support from Apple.

Yeah, my iPad 4 can still run YouTube in a browser, but that's about it for newer stuff. It kind of feels like they're becoming obsolete!
