Hey everyone! I'm trying to upgrade my PC to Windows 11, but my WD Black 770 2TB NVME boot drive is causing some trouble. The Windows installer is telling me that the drive isn't ready for the update, and after some searching, I found out that a firmware update might fix the issue. I downloaded the WD Dashboard app to perform the update, but I'm running into problems. When I click 'check for updates,' I get hit with an 'Internal Error' that doesn't provide any specific information. There's also an option to update via a file, but I can't seem to find any firmware files online. I've asked for support, but they keep directing me back to the app, which isn't working for me. I'm at my wit's end here and would appreciate any help or advice you all might have!

It's been a rough time for updates lately with Microsoft messing things up. Hopefully, you can get that firmware sorted out soon, but don't forget to back up your data before making any substantial changes to your system!
Make sure you're using the latest Sandisk Dashboard software because the old WD NVMe Dashboard has been retired. You can download it from the Sandisk support site. That might fix your issue with the firmware update!
Yes, I'm already on the new Dashboard (v5.0.2.3), but it's still not working for me.
