I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 5600, a GeForce 3060, and 16GB of RAM. I'm looking to upgrade but want to stick with the AM4 platform since DDR5 RAM prices are too high. I would appreciate suggestions for a budget-friendly CPU and GPU that can give me a noticeable increase in FPS for gaming. Here are the games I play and my current FPS: "FiveM with NVE" gives me between 40-90 FPS depending on the server, and in "Escape from Tarkov," I usually get around 60 FPS but sometimes drops to 20 FPS on maps like Streets. I'm not aiming for anything huge, just something to help make the games run a bit smoother.

If you're looking for a substantial gaming CPU upgrade, the 5700X3D or 5800X3D is a great option. They pretty much deliver performance similar to a Ryzen 7600, which is a pretty big jump. For the GPU, the 9060 XT 16GB gives good value, and if you're considering Intel, the B580 isn’t bad either.
For budget upgrades, you might want to consider the 5060 Ti or 9060 XT 16GB versions. The 5070 and 5070 Ti or even the 9070 XT could also be solid options. Additionally, a Ryzen 7 57/58/59 series could offer some benefits as well, but may not be the best value for your money. They can help, but prices vary a lot based on the market right now.
Honestly, I don't see a great budget-friendly CPU upgrade at the moment. The 5700X and 5800X won’t provide a huge difference. The 5700X3D and 5800X3D usually cost way too much. By the way, where are you based? If you’re near a Micro Center in the States, it might help. Additionally, for FiveM, you could try capping your frames at 60 FPS—might help you maintain smoother gameplay instead of dipping to 40 FPS so often.
I’m in the UK and my budget is around 300-400 GBP.

I’ve got a 5800 in my Amazon basket but I’m just having trouble locating a good deal on the 5700X3D.
