Hey everyone,
I'm looking for some alternatives to two-factor authentication (2FA) for my laptop when logging into various sites. Right now, I'm using my phone to receive the verification codes, which is manageable when it's just once in a while. However, it's becoming tedious since some sites require it frequently. I'm hoping to find an extension or tool that can streamline this process for me, similar to how password managers autofill passwords. Does anyone know of any solutions that could help make 2FA less of a hassle on my desktop? Appreciate any suggestions!
Cheers!

You can also try KeePassXC. It takes a bit of setup, but it supports various types of 2FA and even has features for autofilling codes. It's a handy way to manage everything in one place.
I use Google Authenticator on my Android phone, but for convenience on my laptop, I run an Android emulator like BlueStacks. This way, I can access my authenticator app right from my desktop!
You might want to check if your password manager has an option to manage 2FA codes. Some of them can associate with your MFA secret, which you usually get via a QR code. Just keep in mind, capturing the QR code is key since you might not always be able to retrieve it later.
Just a reminder, though—what you're asking for sounds like you want to skip some of the security that 2FA provides. If that’s the case, you might want to reconsider relying on it at all!
